One year ago today, our “You Are Welcome Here” Safe Spaces Alliance initiative was approved unanimously by the Long Beach City Council 🥳!

Thank you so much, Councilwoman Mary Zendejas, for bringing this to our city’s council, and thank you, Councilwoman Suzie Price, Councilwoman Cindy Allen, and Councilmember Robert Uranga, for signing on to this item. Mayor Robert Garcia, Vice Mayor Rex Richardson, Councilwoman Suely Saro, and Councilwoman Stacy Mungo thank you for voting in favor of our initiative.
